IF NOT FOR YOU LORD

I would not know sufficient grace in my journey

If not for You Lord

I would not know that when I submit myself to You the devil must flee from me

If not for You Lord

I would not know that I can lie down and sleep in sweet peace

If not for You Lord

I would not know that You are my shepherd and in You I lack nothing

If not for You Lord

I would not know that You make me to be fruitful in the land of affliction

If not for You Lord

I would not know that even in discipline You are kind and merciful

If not for You Lord

I would not know that my Redeemer lives

If not for You Lord

I would not know that this joy that I have the world did not give to me and the world can not take it away

that Your power is made perfect in my weakness

that I have been given the Prince of Peace

that You are with me

that You protect me

Thank You Lord

that You are the strength of my life

that You hear me and You answer me

that You are my provider

that I am loved by You for always
