IF NOT FOR YOU LORD

I would not know that I can trust God with all of it

If not for You Lord

I would not know that Your timing is always perfect

If not for You Lord

I would not know Your leading

If not for You Lord

I would not know the beauty of coming before You with thanksgiving

If not for You Lord

I would not know the One who causes me to triumph always

If not for You Lord

I would not know the beauty of laying across my bed and communing with my own heart

If not for You Lord

I would not know the power of letting go and surrendering all of me

If not for You Lord

I would not know that I can come to You weary and burdened and You will give me rest

If not for You Lord, If not for You

Thank You Lord

that You are my confidence and my chief reward

Thank You Lord

that You have taught me to fight with the sword of Your word

Thank You Lord

that You are the most high God and Lord over all

Thank You Lord

for teaching me to give thanks in all things

Thank You Lord

for showing me how to rejoice and again I say rejoice

Thank You Lord

showing me how to surrender and make You my life choice

Thank You Lord

for teaching me to walk with You in every season

Thank You Lord

for the beauty of knowing I can always reach for You

Thank You Lord

for saving my soul

Thank You Lord

for making me whole in every part

Thank You Lord

for giving me life and life abundantly
